"They do a great job. However, I was disappointed to find that when you use your debit card, they have neglected to inform customers that there is a 4% fee. Unfortunately, this smacks of deception. My Reply to Your Response (July 26, 2023): I appreciate your prompt response. You wrote, in part: "We understand the importance of transparency and will review our communication to ensure that all fees are clearly presented to our customers." Well, I was pleased to see that you now note that there is a fee for a debit card transaction. I noticed the note when I picked up the clothes earlier today. Regrettably, you don't say how much of a fee is charged. More specifically, you don't say it is 4% of the total transaction. I only bring this up because you explicitly mention the "importance of transparency." Saying that the fee is 4% when held in juxtaposition to simply noting that there is a fee is preferable. After all, you also shared that "all fees are clearly presented to our custormers." Unfortunately, the 4% fee is not "clearly presented to our customers." Another "miscommunication"? AUGUST 30, 2023: This is an update on my latest experience with this establishment. Frankly, it has gotten worse. Don't get me wrong, they did an excellent job cleaning, but the owner (whose name I am told is Alex) is not a man of his word. Because of my last experience above, I was told that I would be given a discount on my next cleaning, and that it would be input into the computer in case the owner was not there. Well, it was never put into the computer, and when the attendant/helper called Alex, he said that he would have to be there for the discount. This was disappointing. I hate to think that because I am an African American professional and he is Latino that that makes a difference. Whatever the case, he still does not post how much of a service fee there is for using the credit card/debit card terminal (4%), and strikes me, by his actions, to be a dishonest man. That's too bad, because now I'll have to find another cleaner. I refuse to give them any more of my money. Bummer."
"My husband and me have brought our Dodger jerseys here to get dry cleaned a few times now. They do an amazing job. We have a 2-year old which stains his jerseys all the time. It always comes back looking like new after we get it dry cleaned here. We will continue to do Bussiness with them. Thank you!"
"I wish I could give this business 10 stars! Have had excellent experiences with these new owners and their services. Not only did they do a great job with my previous dry cleaning order, but they also are handling an alteration for me. Alex was so nice to me and to my disabled son when I went in today to see about getting the alteration done. They have a cute little room to change in for the alterations. The turn around time for the alteration is great (just a few days), and Alex checked with me to make sure I was happy with what the alteration was going to be. The business is clean and Alex is very friendly. The unfortunate thing for these new owners is that they took over the business from owners who were not very professional and did not do a good job with their services (Cleaners Royale). This means that Green Hanger Cleaners didn't get the benefit of keeping a lot of the Cleaners Royale customers. I would hope that the old Dutch Clean and Cleaners Royale customers would come back and give Green Hanger Cleaners a try. They really want to make sure you're satisfied. If you have a problem with something regarding their service (i.e., "hangers"), just go back to them and ask them to make it right. They definitely will do that! And they won't be offended. They're in business to do a good job and keep their customers happy. Give them a try if you used to be a Dutch Clean or Cleaners Royal customer. From dry cleaning to alterations, special cleaning services (i.e., comforters, wedding dresses, etc.), I'm sure you'll be happy. I have been so far, and I'm sure I will continue to be as I use their services."
