"Karen is a master baker and a real hard worker. She arrives at 2 AM and opens at 6 AM. She has been discovered and sells out early. Her pastries are without equal and are always fresh out of the oven. I wish more people would request her sticky buns-absolutely delicious. "I love this place! I would go to Karen again and again for custom baked goods. First of all, whenever I stop by Mill Valley Bakery, Karen is there baking up another incredibly delicious creation. She's always a pleasure to speak with, and she's such a lovely person. I love going into the bakery to talk with her and see what she's created - whatever I get from sweet pastries to savory BLTs on baguettes, it is always on another level of deliciousness and freshness. Karen made a custom order of apple cider cinnamon sugar baked donuts for our wedding this September, and our guests were raving about them. I've had multiple people ask after the wedding where they can get them, and many told me they were the best apple cider donuts they've ever had! I agree, and I grew up in New England so I've tried MANY apple cider donuts in my life and Karen's are better than any I've ever had. Karen is truly talented at what she does, and I couldn't recommend working with her for any special event more highly."
