Cousins Maine Lobster Restaurant - Pier 41 San Francisco

"The $26 Connecticut roll was superb but alas… this food is essentially the DMT of expensive edible sea creatures. Allow me to explain: it’s exquisite once it hits your nervous system…mind blowing/ awe inspiring death by astonishment good…. However, it’s equally short lived and leaving you with an insatiable desire to go back to that place (and it’s a very expensive place to visit). As much as I enjoyed the meal I think I’ll make the tough decision that I was unable to reconcile in my 20’s. I will not ‘chase this dragon’ in search of more enlightenment despite having nothing but good things to say about the pricey yet titillating experience. Cheers!"

"Our first day in San Francisco and we got lucky enough to find Cousins Maine lobster. We were tired and it was getting cold so clam chowder was the ticket. And it did NOT disappoint. Thick & creamy with huge chunks of clam, with prices that were far below what we expected. My bowl was about 1.5 -2 cups with oyster crackers was just $10.00. Absolutely delicious!!! Five Stars!! I'm coming back tomorrow for a lobster roll!"

"The food was good and the sandwiches were delicious . The only thing that I didn't like was that there was a restaurant on the pier and 1 on those carts. The gentleman who took our order should have let us know to go inside the restaurant instead of purchasing the food from the outside cart. It would have been nice to sit inside the restaurant instead of outside out in the sun on outside tables. But the food was really good."

"It was okay... We got the Lobster Bisque in a bread bowl. The soup was creamy and well seasoned. They gave 4 pieces of lobster with it. The bread bowl was a disappointment though! Very stale bread... I'd recommend getting the soup without it. I'll try the lobster grilled cheese next time! Customer service was great! A lot of seats inside with good air conditioning. No bathroom for customers though :("

"As soon as my family got to the warf, we wanted seafood and this was the first place we stumbled across, on their opening day. And Im so glad we did! Everything was tasty, very nice people working and you could feel the sense of celebration in the air. Very happy for the new owners and I wish them success"
