"Do not choose this company if you have AHS American home shield, unless your plumbing issue is super simple. I had called AHS asking for a company that had the least complaints and this one I was told is rated triple A. I would say that they are very responsive and quick to schedule, but unmotivated to fix your plumbing issue if it is something that takes more than 15 minutes. My sink was clogged and Tony ran a snake and worked diligently for 15 minutes or so but then told me “bad news, the warranty only covers up to 20 ft and I ran my whole snake down there, you will have to contact your HOA.” I then call my HOA plumber CR plumbing and they arrive a few hours later and unclog it with a 30ft snake. You couldn’t get another snake 10 ft longer??? So I was annoyed and looked at my AHS contract that says I am covered up to 100ft. This is ridiculous for me to spend my service charge for this company to come and be so unmotivated to fix the issue they couldn’t go 10 more feet. I do not recommend a company that only does the minimum because I ended up having to pay double for something that could have been done right the first time with just a tiny bit more effort. Who brings a 20ft snake??? You gotta have at least 35 to be a professional"

"Referred through American Home Shield insurance that we got when we bought the place, these guys did a quick and successfully diagnosis and repair of a faulty water heater. Friendly, professional, and reliable. Not a complicated issue, but they made it easy all the same."

"American home shield sent them. They ordered wrong faucet 1/2 the size of original one. Wrong color. Owner blames me for color. Told him I have original faucet here. I had purchased. Faucet just like one I had. I have a big stainless steel sink the faucet doesn’t even reach the hole where water drains. They also put in a garbage disposal which sounds like a freight train"

"If you want a plumbing job done by an honest, professional company then Spartan Rooter is who you should call. This is a family owned business that we have used for years. Today the youngest member, Garrett, came to clean out our pipes which we do twice a year minimum as we have an old house with lots of tree roots. It is always a hard job and Garrett tackled it with a professional and energetic manner. He was very polite and I could tell that he really had our best interests at heart. He has the same work ethic as the rest of his family members that we have done business with. Supporting our local small businesses is important and you can't go wrong with this company.
