"Pedro Moran is very short fused and disrespectful. As I had come in to the bank he had confirmed my balance and status on a check that was already credited by the institution. The online banking flagged my bank deposit as fraudulent causing inconvenience and angst as I was expressing my grief he interjected stating that he isn’t in charge and completely dismissed my feelings and didn’t have any empathy in my situation in the moment. I expressed how I though his lack of empathy was alarming and that he needed to at least learn to listen. He then gave me the fraud department’s phone number and said he wouldn’t tolerate my opinion of his credibility and tried to dismiss me. Luckily, I waited for the bank manager who was on a call and he addressed my concerns with empathy and tried to help. We got somewhere with his care. Try to choose your banker wisely, Pedro Moran is not suitable to handle customer service nor any of your investments. Try to work with someone who is has been doing it for many years and has repeat clientele."
"Bank of the West is terrible because they don’t want to help me open checking and savings accounts. I have to take my money open somewhere else since they don’t want my money"
"Sadly this is my bank and my branch. But when it comes to speedy service, good luck!! And I use the term loosely! Every single time I came into the branch, I can guarantee it will be at least 30/40 minutes until I am out the door. There's always just one clerk and when there is more, the others are off doing their own thing. Just last week the outside teller was out of service for the entire week, forcing one to go inside, which I try to avoid at all costs. And today I either had the world's stupidest teller or realized the bank robbs people blind! I came in to exchange some Mexican Pesos i had, which I confirmed beforehand that the current exchange rate was $19.91 pesos for every dollar. And the guy behind the counter very confident told me the bank would exchange the peseos at .045 cents per peso. That was less than a nickel! I laughed and walked out! I think it's time to look for a new bank!"
"This is one the worse banks on the market. They closed really early, some branches closed by lunch time, when you call, you are lucky if they answer and if someone answer is about 20 minutes waiting that was 20 years ago o maybe more. I kept money in my savings account and I got charge a fee once there was balance. Stay away from this bank if you want an efficient place to handle your money"
