"Bank of America is hands down my favorite bank. They have a very nice manager, and most of their tellers are professional too. I have to knock off a star though, because they never have enough employees on hand. Edit: Ever since Covid, I haven't had to go in the bank so I don't know what it's like now. The app works great, so I deposit all my checked with that. Cash, I deposit at their front ATM, because the back two ATMS repeatedly spit the cash back out and can't read them. They should perform maintenance on them."
"Does anyone actually work here? They’re trying to seize my assets stored in a safe deposit box, but I can’t speak with anyone to clear up their mistake. I’ve called at least forty times over the last two months. Am I supposed to fly 600 miles to this location so they can apologize for their error? Absolutely ridiculous."
"Sketchy atm's outside, with homeless pol always in the parking lot. Go inside, and it's worse, a huge ugly building with one teller, always. The banker came around telling everyone, "Someone else is about to open up." for more than 20 minutes, and no one ever did. I temporarily have to use Bank of America. But because of this one location, I will never join them in the long run."
"I recently received a stimulus check from the state. It came in the mail on a Saturday and my bank is closed on Saturday. But I really needed the money. But Bank of America won't cash a check unless you have an account with them. Even a check drawn on the Ca State Treasury. So I'm guessing they probably wouldn't cash one from the IRS unless I had an account which contradicts what I've read about cashing checks from the IRS. Not one time have I ever had a positive experience with this bank and branch. My very reason for not banking here."
"Yes, the lines are long and yes they seem to be understaffed on some days but customer service has always been exceptional in my experience. The tellers are always nice and helpful and friendly. They do close on some random days without leaving a notice of why they closed and that’s why I am taking a couple of stars ."
