Reviews of Le Pain Quotidien
"Le Pain Quotidien in Westlake Village offers a convenient and casual spot for a bite to eat. Whether you prefer the cozy vibes indoors or the fresh air on the patio, there's seating to accommodate your preference. Plus, with ample parking in the surrounding strip mall lot, it's easy to get in and out. My recent visit, however, was a bit of a mixed bag. I opted for the banana bread with buckwheat, requesting it warmed. While the bread itself was decent, the wait for it to be heated took a while. The real letdown was the iced chai. Unfortunately, it was quite watery and had a bit of a chalky aftertaste. The slow service on the heating request and the disappointing drink brought the experience down a notch. Overall, Le Pain Quotidien is a decent option for a quick bite, especially considering the easy parking. However, if you're looking for a standout bakery experience with top-notch drinks, you might want to explore other options."
"Great food, cute location with nice outdoor patio, and great variety on the menu. Only thing is we waited 30 minutes for our server and almost went somewhere else! The first server spent 10 minutes at another table placating their requests, disappeared without greeting us, came back to bring their food, walked past us again without saying hello, and disappeared. But then Ariana came to save the day and did an absolutely terrific job, friendly and prompt service and made the experience wonderful."
"Happy with everything here, food and service as wells as relaxing atmosphere, menu/food has its own character here. Tried ginger lemon drink it was great. Tried mushroom quiche great too, mini dutch pancakes are good desert. bought bread and croissant on the way out. Open all day Saturday for brunch another plus. Highly recommend this place."
"This was the first time I’ve visited this location and I’ll definitely be back. My daughter and I stopped by for a quick light breakfast and ended up sitting down and enjoying a full breakfast. We had the ham and gruyere croissant and added an egg. It was excellent. The croissant was the perfect crispness and the ham and cheese was high quality and very tasty. It comes with a small mixed green salad which was very good. I tried the matcha latte which was very good. I got the large size and it came in an interesting bowl rather than a mug which was different but it was a good size and I certainly got my moneys worth. The service was excellent even during the morning rush. There were lots of people dining outside on their cute patio and plenty of space for sitting indoors."
"Stopped in for breakfast with the family. There is lots of outdoor seating for nice sunny days. Service was great. Fast, attentive and good attitudes. I had the ham and cheese croissant with gruyere cheese and my wife had the quiche Lorraine. We split a Chocolate almond Croissant for dessert. The kids shared our food and enjoyed it. Excellent all around."
