"I have been here for breakfast and lunch. The plating is a cut above what I seen in other casual restaurants. The food comes to the table hot. The service is friendly and attentive. For lunch last week I had a bacon cheeseburger without the bun. I am gluten sensitive, so this is how I cope. The burger was the best burger I have had in a long time. The cheese was melted perfectly. I am really glad to see the new ownership. Healdsburg needed a place that opens at 7AM that serves a great breakfast and lunch. I have not tried dinner, it closes at 9PM every day. It would be good if the restaurant posted their menu online."
"My wife and I rode our bicycles to Peppers for a Sunday morning breakfast. The menu was extensive. It's a great diner menu with some good healthy choices. The restaurant building has been there for a long time and they've done a small renovation inside that is nice and clean. my wife got a mango mimosa and said it was very good. I ordered biscuits and gravy the side of bacon and my wife ordered A skillet scramble we both thought our meals were pretty darn good. Their prices are definitely decent in today's super high restaurant price market. If you're looking for it great diner breakfast or lunch I would definitely say stop by Peppers. I'm sure this will become one of our normal breakfast stops. P.S.I don't give out stars easily so a three star restaurant is pretty good in my book. It has to be unbelievable to be four or five star."
"I have lived in the Healdsburg area since 1981. In the “good old days” we had at least two classic American diners, The Tip Top Cafe and Forty Carrots(sic.). Alas, they are long gone. Today I had lunch at Pepper’s. My friend had a corned beef sandwich. It looked good. He said it tasted great as well. I had a California burger. It was cooked medium rare as I had requested. Instead of french fries I substituted a green salad with a classic American style blue cheese dressing. It really was a mixed green salad. Not the usual chopped iceberg lettuce salad by any means. It contained several kinds of leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber slices. I did snitch a few of my friend’s french fries. They were excellent. I was tempted to order either a root beer float or a vanilla malted milk shake. However my calorie counting conscience warned me off. I mean, I did indulge myself with the blue cheese salad dressing. Maybe next time I will order just a milkshake to appease my calorie counting conscience. In summary I say, "Rejoice! The classic American diner has finally returned to Healdsburg.""
"Their three flight mimosas special... Mango, Cherry Bomb, and Guava if you wanna know it was great! We had their breakfast burrito and french toast combo. It was really good. The folks of Peppers are very nice and friendly. The place is clean and it has a nice casual vibe."
"Clean, quiet, comfortable place. Friendly staff and excellent service. Menu is extensive with a plethora of healthy, well thought out meal choices. I had a 3 egg omelet - spiced ground beef, mushrooms, peppers, onions and tomatoes with just right baked country potatoes and sourdough toast. All very tasty and $17.75. That's excellent value! I wish Peppers had a location in Sunnyvale!"
