Welcome to the Border Coast Regional Airport Authority, your gateway to the beautiful Border Coast Region, located at 1650 Dale Rupert Road, Crescent City, California. As a California Joint Powers Authority (JPA), we are dedicated to providing seamless and expanded connectivity for Crescent City and the surrounding areas.
We are thrilled to announce that we have secured a new 4-year AEAS grant agreement with the Department of Transportation. This agreement allows us to continue offering daily round-trip flights from Crescent City (CEC) to Oakland (OAK) through Advanced Air, LLC, as well as introducing new twice-weekly round-trip flights to Hawthorne/Los Angeles (HHR). These services ensure that our community remains well-connected to major urban centers, fostering economic growth and accessibility.
Our operations are supported by a dedicated team, including Jeffrey Daniels, Operations and Maintenance Technician II, and Ryan Phillips, Operations and Maintenance Technician I. For your safety, we offer Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) services, supplemented by the skilled members of Crescent City Fire and Rescue (CCFR) through a collaborative agreement.
The BCRAA Board of Commissioners meets monthly on the first Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Del Norte County Board of Supervisors Chambers. We invite the public to attend and participate in these meetings. Meeting agendas and other public documents are accessible through our website.
Experience the convenience and comfort of flying with the Border Coast Regional Airport Authority, where we are committed to providing exceptional service and connectivity for our community and beyond.

Reviews
"Ran the plane out of fuel circling Portland bc of fog, instead of landing anywhere else in Oregon, went back to Crescent city on no fuel. Overheard the flight crew say they almost had to coast into the airport. Crew lied to us about the travel details on multiple occassions. Next flight didn't leave for portland for 5 hours making me miss all my connections. No food in or around airport. Almost put a 75yo diabetic woman into a coma bc she had no access to food. Panam claimed the flight issue was weather related due to fog, and wouldn't refund flights or comp hotel rooms. Delayed whole trip a whole day because they didn't know how to land in FOG In PORTLAND in NOVEMBER. Their only flights are between Crescent City to Portland and back. They should know how to land there. Unprofessional. Fly out of anywhere else. Even if it may be closest option, go to Medford, Redding, Arcata, hell, even San Fran would have been a better choice. The amount of time I wasted there, I could have driven to San Francisco for a cheaper ticket."
"I traveled from Tulsa, Ok to Crescent City, and back for a fishing trip. Nice hometown airport. The staff was great and the TSA where professional, I wish more TSA where this nice."
