"I hardly post a review but I got to for this bakery. First of all let me preface with I thought that bouchon in Yountville had the best parties but let's just say Danaes has then beat by a mile. Honestly the quality of these pastries, though pricey, is superb. This bakery could easily be in the Napa valley and it's hidden here in lake county. I just bought today as I do anytime I can stop by and their berry tarts are amazing. You can taste the fresh berries and the texture on the tart. The apple tart is just as good. I tried a cake she described as kind of like a pound cake. I can only describe it as the richest flavor that melted in my mouth. When I hold it it feels heavy in my hand. So buttery and good. Their danishes are top flavor too. I tried the banana muffin and it's good but it could be a little more moist to make it perfect. Also the eclairs? are okish some work needed to prefect that. . But overall 90% of the pastries are 5 star and I try one of each every time I stop by. Honestly I may risk becoming diabetic just to have more of Danaes pastries. P.s. only thing I wish is they were open more days of the week"
