Welcome to Oceanside United Reformed Church, located at 2549 Ocean Street, Carlsbad, California. Our church is a place of worship where everyone is invited to experience the transformative love of Christ. Inspired by the words of Paul to the Romans, "Welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God" (Romans 15:7), we strive to create a welcoming environment where individuals from all walks of life can come as they are and be transformed by the power of the Gospel.
At Oceanside United Reformed Church, we are committed to deepening our understanding of God through theology and worship. We believe in the importance of written statements of faith, which serve as a foundation for our beliefs in a world where faith can often feel shallow. Inspired by Acts 2:42, we devote ourselves to the apostles' teaching, the breaking of bread, and prayer, seeking to worship God with our whole being.
Our community is built on genuine fellowship, where our beliefs and worship practices influence how we live and interact with one another and the broader community. Whether it's sharing prayer requests, gathering in each other's homes, reaching out to those in need, or helping the less fortunate, we aim to reflect God's love in all we do.
Join us for our services: Holy Communion at 10:00 am, Sunday School at 12:00 pm, and Evening Prayer at 5:00 pm. Our chapel, located at the west end of the property on the corner of Cypress Ave. and Ocean St., offers a serene setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Oceanside United Reformed Church is a proud member of the United Reformed Churches in North America, the North American Presbyterian and Reformed Council, and the International Conference of Reformed Churches. We invite you to be a part of our community as we share the "good news" of Jesus Christ, the Savior who brings us back to God through His holy birth, perfect life, sacrificial death, and triumphant resurrection.
