"Love this Library. A decent selection of book but what makes it great are the people."
"I go in just to simply print out a paper and their computers aren’t working, so I asked for help at the front desk. Best way I can get my paper printed is sign up for library card and I said okay sign me up. And as I’m waiting, the worker is taking their sweet time doing something else and not helping me. I’m standing there for like 10 mins and no help. No help at all."
"This library sits in the heart of Bixby Knolls. Lots of books, DVD n E books to choose from. Staff is very nice, plenty of space to read or work on computers. So happy I stopped by!"
"Horrible place the librarians are so so mean they are not helpful I watched a librarian kick kids out and a girl when she was quiet and reading a book it is a horrible environment there is also grown men looking up horrible things of women when there is kids walking around it is is so gross. they have a patio were kids and people are suppose to eat but they have locked it up. I hope the get nicer staff and deal with the mess It is not just the kids fault. The only reason I gave a one star review is the WiFi and also can't give 0 stars"
"Well organized, clean, with free WiFi. They reach out to little ones and teens at this branch to try to cultivate future library-goers. Although librarians nowadays hope we will use the tools provided to find what we want, these librarians are helpful if your request is specific or if you indicate you don't know how to use the computers. One at Dana Branch went above and beyond recently, researching how to connect my Nook ebook reader to their system so I could download library books. She patiently worked until she got it right for us--all with a cheerful smile. Today I went in and heard young children conversing about books in their area, but not loudly, and there were a number of adult patrons working quietly on the eight or so computers. Maybe it depends on the time of day but I haven't noticed inappropriate noise levels at Dana Branch. Have I just been lucky? Gone is the irritated librarian saying "Shh !!!" at the slightest noise, and who'll kick you out if she thinks she sees you chewing gum. If we want libraries to go on existing, we may have to deal with this level of noise: coffee-shop-without-the-music. The media are still at the library, but if we're looking for real peace and quiet, we might have to take the books/etc home."
