"Very disappointing. I drove 2 1/2 hours down to Ventura, arrived at 4:20 (store closes at 5 according to both Web site and store signage), the store was completely closed with no more or explanation."

"Ryan, the owner, has been incredibly helpful as I've started on my painting journey. Every time I come in he stops what he's doing to greet me and will take as much time as I want to show me different approaches, tips etc for painting. I can feel his passion for the hobby and for helping people. I feel very lucky to have this store nearby! Edit: To update/comment on the other review here, the store absolutely does not require a mask. Every time I've gone in, none of the customers are wearing one. Ryan often does, but I experience it as him attempting to be respectful to his customers. I've never seen him comment one way or another on it, which is how it should be (in my opinion). It makes me a little upset to see someone saying this local store should be shut down simply because they have a health advisory on their door."

"Covid is over with. Mask mandates are over with, but this shop still requires a mask. Do not come here! Let this shop go under. For how small their clientele is, I don't think you want to be demanding your customers wear masks. I shop at the Thousand Oaks shop, and I have talked to other people at the Thousand Oaks location and they also refuse to shop at this location, he owner/operator at Thousand Oaks is cool and mask ARE your choice. Do not shop here."

"Took a trip down here from the central coast, about a 90 minute trip, only to walk in and immediately be greeted by a very blunt, “If you want to be in here you have to have a mask on” I asked if he had one or knew where I could find one. To which was met with, “I don’t know but you cant stay in here unless you have one” Very dissatisfied with the service here, just starting up in Warhammer and was ready to spend a couple hundred dollars in figures and supplies. TLDR: if you don’t have a mask, apparently your money is no good :("

"Who doesn't love war. Games Workshop has the best models. So whether you want to just paint and build a good model or battle your friends at a challenging tabletop strategy game."
