"My dad used to be a truck driver and always talked about this place so my daughter and I stopped in for breakfast. The waitresses are so sweet and kind and the food was amazing, I highly recommend their fresh squeezed orange juice. I will so be coming here again when I pass through!"
"This is my third or fourth time eating at the Hi-Lo Cafe as a guest of the motel. Excellent food homestyle menu. Very large portions meatloaf French dip, coleslaw and of of course breakfast items all delicious... Super friendly staff. Very hard-working"
"Hi-Lo Cafe deserves 10 stars. Food is fantastic. Service is second to none. The Hi-Lo girls are welcoming, fun, friendly. I had a "cup" of chili that is more like a bowl. My husband had a Turkey Club sandwich and said it was very good. Place is super busy and you need to be patient. It's worth it."
"Weird vibes. Okay people? Awful food. After an 8 hour drive we quickly stopped at this diner to get food since we didn’t want to get fast food. While waiting, a crazy lady came in and started yelling for one of the workers. The staff handled it very well, even when the police came, and I applaud them for that. But, after 40 minutes we finally got our food (after it had been sitting for a while at the counter) and it was awful! The potatoes were undercooked and in a pool of oil, the waffle was slathered in sugary juices and the bacon was so burnt and hot that it burned a hole through the styrofoam. All in all, I Would not recommend this place unless it happened to be the only place to eat. Just go get taco bell. Side note: after all the commotion and the police showing up, a women dressed in nun attire walked in and sat down… Where was she when we needed her 10 minutes ago?"
"Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday. Walked in and felt very welcomed. Ordered a crispy chicken ceasar salad and burger (forgot which special one) with onion rings. Both were good. Also, had delicious refreshing real strawberry lemonade. Quick and friendly service."
