"Let me start with when ever I go to mythic, there are people smoking pot right out front often & people who smell like pot in the game shop OFTEN! . None of that is an issue for me and doesn’t bother me. I brought my friend that’s getting back into magic to the shop. This said friend smelled a little like pot and the owner kicked him out of the shop after he spent almost a $100 in the store!!!! I understand an over whelming smell, but the owner(older dude in the glasses) didn’t even give him a chance to loose the smell off his clothes. My friend being the respectful guy he is, accepted what he was told and tried to shake the owners hand, saying “all right thank you for taking me to the side instead of making a scene in the game room” and attempted. To shake the owners hand. The owner would even say anything after telling him to leave or shake his hand. The level of disrespect is insane, he’s always seemed rude and short with customers in the first place! My partner is t even comfortable in the shop cause of the rude workers (kid working Thursday nights is cool) never going back! Three customers lost!!"

"The store itself is nice but the owner isn't very helpful. I asked if he had gotten a new release in stock and he told me they were behind the counter and would be "going up" tomorrow. So I come back the next day only for him to tell me that they were already pre-ordered a long time ago and thus not for sale. I guess "going up" means something different to him. I used to go every week but after that experience it's been over a month since I've been back."

"This is a true hidden gem in Santa Cruz. Never been and wanted to grab some cards while I was in town. They have tons of magic cards, Pokémon and yugioh. I really thought their play space was nice. Large room and tons of tables."
