Reviews of La Palma City Hall
"Great job"
"The city and city council doesn’t care about its citizens. We have a huge short term rental problem and a majority of the citizens who live here - do not want them in our city and the city was made aware of this in October of 2021 and have done nothing but found a way for the city to make more money and the citizens of La Palma are just left being unhappy in our own homes. We’ve been harassed, threatened and bothered by guests staying it these STR and all the city cares about is making more money and not listening to the people who actually live here. They’re adding to the housing crisis in California by allowing STRs instead of banning them and allowing families who would actually grow with the community to live here. I use to love this city. Now I want to move. I’ve lived here for 30+ years and this city is not what it use to be. The city council members and mayor don’t care how unhappy their citizens are. Other cities in Orange County have banned short term rentals because they care about their neighborhoods and the people who live in them. Not La Palma. Next election make sure you all vote the current members out who are up for re-election until we have all new members and mayor. Clearly the current ones don’t care about serving the people. A 1.5 square mile city does not need airbnbs when we only have one hotel. You’re taking business away from your only hotel and causing disruptions to the citizens who pay taxes and worked hard for their homes. If anyone reading this is thinking of moving here. Don’t. Try one of the 15 cities in Orange County who actually care about their citizens and banned STRs completely."
