"As someone who grew up in Cerritos from the 70's into the 21st century, I'm very saddened by the state that this city is in. I just came back to visit after I moved away in '06. Many parts of the city look post apocalyptic, while other parts look like the overcrowded parts of large cities where there are more businesses than parking spaces. I was always proud of my City of Cerritos. It is horribly overgrown and the roads are atrocious. Is anyone still running the city or is it on autopilot heading toward certain disaster? I never thought neighboring Cypress, La Palma, or even Long Beach and Lakewood would look better kept than this once great city. What an absolute shame."

"The Cerritos City Hall provides city services, along with local events info as well. I came here to see about a business opportunity and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! Parking is free and is located off of 183rd street, behind the Sheriff Station. Building designs are magnificent, including Maurice Fleishman architecture. Art aficionados may appreciate seeing the Cerritos Library and Sculpture Garden, located either side of the City Hall and Sheriff Station and within steps of the parking area."
