"Having a church home seemed unlikely to me, as I had been attending multiple churches on a weekly basis immediately prior to discovering this church. When I got here, I knew something was different immediately. I felt love from the Pastor and the congregation like I never experienced at any other church. They welcomed me with open arms, and that's not normal for me. I asked God for a church home, one with faithful brothers that I can fellowship with, and God answered my prayer and I am blessed. "I came to this little church 6 years ago. I was broken. I was raised in a fatherless home. I was rejected and neglected from a very young age. In 2013 I reached a point In my life, I wanted my life to just end. One day a man William Ortiz gave me and my boyfriend at the time, now husband, an invitation to church. The words he spoke that Thursday night were something I had never heard in my life. He said you can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I didn’t know what having a relationship with Jesus was like. My husband and I went to church that Sunday. It has been the best decision I’ve made in my whole life. Not only going to church but actually having a relationship with Jesus. Jesus has changed my life inside and out. I now have a family that loves me and doesn’t reject me. This is an awesome place to make your home church. My children love the children’s church and the people. It’s literally my place of refuge. I encourage you if your alone, broken and have been through hell and back, God can change that in this place. As long as you have a willing heart. I hope this will encourage you. God will take you in and give you a whole new life and a great family in Christ."
