"Business completely misrepresented the bike they were selling online and shipped it with incomplete parts in an already damaged box, then tried to claim it was just a shipping issue. The motor, battery and many parts were not as described and it didn’t even come with a charger. I would never consider doing business with this company again and the seller refuses to cover the expenses incurred due to their misrepresentations in additional shipping cost. Small claims court looks to be the only option to resolve this as the seller is trying to blame me for his own misrepresentation. Seller should have disclosed that the parts were not even the same kind. Listing showed Samsung battery, different motor size. Then he blames me for not accepting an obviously poor quality misrepresented bike. A new in box bike should not be pieced together with 8 different kinds of tape, and be missing half the parts."

"We had a great experience renting from John at E-bikes Cruz. We just pulled up to his location and John set me up with a nice e-bike rental very quickly. The location is convenient and we took a nice ride along west cliff to Steamer Lane and the boardwalk. Overall, I would highly recommend renting from John when in Santa Cruz!!"

"10/10! Recommend checking out the website to book a bike beforehand if you can :) I had 3 hours before a wedding and really wanted to explore Wilder Ranch. I was already on site and John arrived incredibly quickly to help me out. He listened to what I wanted to do, got an understanding of my experience level with e-bikes (none), and took the time to give me not only bike instructions, but also a really handy map of Wilder Ranch. At one point during my ride, I embarrassingly didn’t recall how to turn on the bike. John picked up quickly when I called and helped me out without making me feel bad. Exploring Wilder Ranch was the highlight of my trip thanks to John!"
