"I been referred to this place since 2022 and I been asking for a list resources where I can go and look for help but instead I yes been discriminate and they take me like I'm not a human Bean I been leaving messages for Ms Diaz who is the supposed the deputy of the area where I stay but she compleat ignore my request to call me back I spoke with vrinaly but she also yes play around with me I been reported to them the laps don't want to take any reports on the crimes I going through I reported also that people commit human trafficking inside the property and that's why they harassed me but they don't care"

"This office I have called eight times in the last year and no one ever returns your phone call. It seems funny that when theirs are problem is going on in the neighborhood and we talked to different officer s with LAPD, they all say you should talk to your councilman he lives right around the corner and then they all have a funny smirk on their faces! I wonder why is that? I have lived here 63 years and all of the neighbors that I talk to says that he is really not interested in our area even though he lives here I guess."

"Worst councilman we’ve had. I’ve lived in CD8 30+ yrs. His office is mostly on voicemail, hard to find the contact number on website, and the first thing that pops up on the website is his re-election campaign!!! People of CD 8, please stop re-electing non- performing, unqualified people. I’m tired of getting nothing but his photo ops. Ridiculous. Horrible service. In addition, CD8 looks horrible. It’s filthy, no incentives for businesses, especially on Western Ave. from Manchester to 105th. His office doesn’t respond to constituent concerns."

"This review is on Marquis and not his office. In our community we have been trying to get him to bring back the street cleaning of the corridors. Specifically, Western Ave. Since he took office he has had meeting with our community council and this subject has been addressed. If he were to bring back street cleaning that would also remove all those abandoned cars and RV's that litter our streets. Furthermore. There is construction at the corner of Western and Vernon that is blocking one of the lanes going south bound on Western. The crew hasn't been seen for two weeks however traffic is horrible at that intersection. Do your job and stop making excuses! The reason I gave him two stars is because he never misses an opportunity for a photo opp."
