"Torrance First Baptist Church, Torrance, CA - wasour first visit in one Sunday. The service was very pleasing, good hymn singing, the preaching was given by the "Youth Pastor" and it was Gospel based and not very "self-glorified" message. That was good -giving God the Glory, not saying how "great" of what he did. A good church gives glory to God and leading congregation to worhship and magnify God. That is the reason fo attending church and be with God."
"Very inclusive atmosphere, everyone is welcome.Bible based sermons, with classes for all ages .Music covers all the bases, from hymns to contemporary and even some choir music.Your sure to find a place here."
"I grew up with the senior pastor, a real solid good guy who loves God’s word, easy to talk to and has 20+ years of ministry experience. His wife and daughters are stellar!! People who are friendly and available to others. I only visited once bc I live an hour away but everyone there was very friendly to me. My teenagers went to the youth group and I have to say, it was their first time really feeling welcomed at a youth group. They said other youth groups are nice to you it seems out of it being the right thing to do, with this youth group it felt more genuine. Both the JR High pastor and the HS pastor and staff were quick to introduce themselves and invite the teens in. I heard the Jr High pastor saying that he was excited my daughter had came, then per her afterwards, worked quick to include her, she was on the verge of backing out and leaving even though she knew someone there already, but afterwards she went on about her time. The HS group hangs out after the actual meeting time, they like being together. Neither group is real big, many were on vacation I think when I viste also. The buildings are old and beautiful, people are the church but the sanctuary is something to see- has a big pipe organ. There are open and meeting while trying to do what they feel the Lord would want during this pandemic time. If you don’t have a mask, they will give you one, but people also come first if you know what I mean. I haven’t attended their adult services but I would like to and I’m thinking my teens are worth driving an hour so to get good Bible teaching and like minded peer interaction."
"The location is convenient. The people are pretty friendly and welcoming. Small parking lot, but this church isn't very large nor packed. Low on young people. Props to Michael, Carla, Pastor Matt, Rog, and Alex."
"Tfb is my new home church and I love it. Everyone is so warm and friendly and welcomed me with open arms. Pastor Charlie's sermons are timely and thought-provoking. Thank you TFB"
