"Nostalgic moments everywhere on this block! One of my favorite movies! The neighbors were really nice and told us all about the filming of the movie. Thanks Ms. Valerie!!"
"Went here on a Saturday afternoon. There are no landmarks or closed off areas indicating the house site, so you can drive right through. Tre's home looks almost the same, but Doughboy's home has changed considerably. It is not fenced up, and the face of the home has gone through considerable changes.. The homes where the movie was filmed looks the same, however. Overall, it's a place that bring nostalgia for hood-movie watchers. There weren't any lookie loo's here, but be considerate of the neighbors since working class families live in these houses. I took a couple of pictures and a video, and no one seemed to mind."
"Being there it feels like you're in the movie. I live about 7 minutes away from there. And when I pass by there I always say doughboy's famous Quote "Either they don't know, don't show, or just don't care about what goes on in the hood." Boyz N the hood is a classic so coming here and seeing the houses of Doughboy, Ricky, Tre and Brandi is Amazing. If you're a fan of the movie don't be afraid to come check out the area :)"
