"I been to this church all my life since the 1980's. Mr. Williams had the best choir there and it's never been the same since. The only pastor I connected to, was the one before 1994. I miss the $5 dollar breakfast after 1st service. What happen to the Sunday school? The church remained active up until 2002 we saw members decline. 2012 more decline, 2022 crickets.... We need a new pastor, the one now just sits around and talks the same thing. We need to reach out to young people. Please spray the dirt off the building, the white has changed colors over the last 20 years. I want to see financial reports because my church should be a multi-millionaire by now. I remember my grandparent's giving 10 percent, which was $300 a week for 30 years up until passing 2015. Almost a half a $Million. I want to see improvements NOW! I am giving my church 5 stars because God said so. And another thing, no more BMW's for the pastor, or the wife...."

"I attended Bethel A.M.E. Church for a dear friend's grandfather's Homegoing Celebration. When I first sat on the pew I realized I felt embraced by the Holy Spirit as if I were returning home, somewhere I'm welcomed and known. It was an extraordinarily loving feeling ... brings tears to my eyes just remembering. The Celebration of Life was perfect for such a wonderful man. Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Kelvin Calloway, the church, and the Men's Choir, and so many others were so comforting!"
