"I visit the Lord’s house every Sunday morning. It is such a simple church, yet it appeals majestically."
"Good memories in this church my family served for many years"
"The first time I visited this Church was the last Sunday in February - Black History Month. The priest gave a wonderful homily. The head usher I cannot remember his name very pleasant gentleman. I enjoyed the mass. I was told after mass had some refreshments..The food tasted delicious sorry I didn't take a pic. I took a plate for myself and I took another plate for my husband and son to share. I went back to get some rice and peas to put in the plate. This particular elerldy lady was very rude, she was from the Caribbean not sure if she is from St. Lucia or Dominican.. She took the tray of brown rice (as I had indicated to the Hispanic lady I would like a little) and the manner she spoke to this Hispanic lady who also was elderly, it was uncalled for very rude. I understand you have to put away for the Spanish mass for persons to get. Prior to that, she also told the servers only one muffin, they are to get as before two were being served (were they not briefed before) However that particular elderly lady next time ask a question, you do not know what an individual maybe going through, a person could be visiting your parish to give feedback, to contribute in some way, they could be homeless this is the first meal for the day etc. Do not judge someone if you saw them in the line prior and they came back. You have no idea if they asked. Yes some persons over do it. However, everyone is not the same. This really left a sour taste in my mouth as the situation could have been handled differently how she spoke to the Hispanic elderly lady. I did let her know the one plate is for my husband and son to share, she was like what!!. I am sure this is not the first time this church has had an event just brief the servers beforehand as opposed to in front of persons."
"My sister's & I went to grammar school for several years back in the 1960's. We stopped by there yesterday Wednesday to visit the church we attended so many days & Sundays but disappointed to find pad locks on the gates that prevented us from entering the Church . Who do we speak to in the future to enter during a possible week day visit?"
"No es el.edificio,la location, tampico el sacerdote. Es la genre guiados por Dios a escuchar su palabra. It is not the building, location, neither the priest. It is the people guided by God to listen to his word."
