"Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5): Breath of Life SDA Church has great musicians and powerful music. The people are awesome, welcoming, and filled with positive energy. The pastor is a great speaker, however, the service is rather long and compartmentalized in structure. Welcomeness: When I entered the church I was greeted by kind and welcoming greeters. The congregation also welcomed with warm smiles! Environment/ The Building: The sanctuary is a large open room which resembles a large conference room or banquet hall. Although the middle of the sanctuary contains three large pillars that make it challenging to see the front, they have adequate screens for viewing. Large windows allow natural light to illuminate the room. It has a great sound system and screens for enhanced views of the service. The cushioned pews were 40% filled with the congregation. Atmosphere in church / The Feel: Though it felt empty at first, the audience who arrived later brought vibrant life and energy. It is slightly uncomfortable entering the sanctuary on the side of the church as it feels as though everyone notices, however the positive energy from the church and service eases the uncomfortable feeling as it is easily forgotten. Time of Service: 11:00 - 1:30 Service: The order of the service felt compartmentalized with singing, children's story, more singing, special song, scripture, special song, prayer, special song, and sermon. Breath of life does give a rejuvenating, energizing sense of excitement that radiates from the music and congregation. Worship Music - category: gospel - instrumentation type: full band (keys, organ, bass, drum) - quality: amazing band and music - crowd engagement: high - duration: 3 songs for their "Call to Worship," and songs for their "Welcome" and "Children's story" Sermon: The pastor had an intense and inspiring message. Speaking with intensity she had great confidence in addressing controversial church topics. The pastor does a great job of incorporating story-telling through passion and vulnerability. Her authenticity laid the stage for a great message on how to better change Christianity in the context of healing.
