"I'm completely anti-communist but there are some things that just should be for everyone. Beautiful parts of nature belong to everybody not private parties. If we have sectioned out something as a nature reserve for everyone to enjoy, you cannot privatize the parking. I'm going to be submitting some legal documents And anyone that wants to help is for you to email me or message me at Pyriscent on social media on Instagram"
"Had to turn to other trails cuz there’s no parking nearby (security guards make sure cannot park without reserved parking, but beforetime was never such regulations)"
"Really amazing trail to either hike or mountain bike on. Great views of Catalina and tons of wildlife. Beware that RPV is trying to limit public access to this public trail by removing on-street parking, but if you park along Crest Road you can park for free, you just have to walk a little further. Let the city know that you think they should make parking free and easy for all trail visitors."
"Beautiful trails with beautiful views. Wind your way through the hills wondering how anyone could afford the massive houses along the trail sides. Shade is sparse, but there's enough of it to take breaks under. If you're lucky enough, you might see a herd of about a hundred goats grazing on a hillside."
"I have visited this trail at different points throughout the year and Spring may be the best. The flowers are so bright and the scents are so fresh and delightful. There are so many trails in Rancho Palos Verdes that cross paths, you can hop from one path to the other to create a hike great for all difficulty levels and ages. Great area for mountain biking and exploring different ocean views with paths that are hugged by trees and bushes to help keep you cool along the way. (During the summer it can be quite hot). At the junction by Burma Road Trail/Fire Station Trail/Ishibashi Trail you will find a porta potty and two garbage cans. Generally not packed because it is so spacious but you will come across other hikers and bikers enjoying the views as well."
