Welcome to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rancho Palos Verdes, California! Our church services follow a consistent 2-hour format, beginning with a main meeting called the sacrament meeting. This gathering includes inspiring songs, heartfelt prayers, and sermons delivered by congregation members, culminating in partaking of the sacrament to honor the Savior. Following the sacrament meeting, we offer a variety of classes tailored to different age groups and interests, ensuring that there is something meaningful for everyone—from children as young as 18 months to adults.
We understand that trying something new can be daunting, but rest assured, you are not alone. Many of our members attend church solo, and if you prefer, you can arrange for local missionaries to accompany you on your first visit. We encourage you to participate at your comfort level, whether that means simply observing or actively engaging in discussions and activities.
Dress comfortably in attire you feel is appropriate; while many choose to wear their "Sunday best," the most important thing is that you feel at ease. Join us to connect with a community of individuals striving to live more Christlike lives and support one another in faith.
Please note that on Sunday, April 7th, no meetings will be held at our building due to the semi-annual General Conference, which will be broadcast worldwide. You can view the conference at www.churchofjesuschrist.org.

"I have been attending church meetings here for the past 16 years. The meetings are inspiring because you are taught by members of the congregation! They share with all their experiences and love of the Savior Jesus Christ. It is a place where families with kids are welcomed and so you can feel comfortable no matter what your age or circumstance in life may be. All are welcomed with open arms, you will feel a great sense of community. The regular Sunday meeting is held at 10:00 am and lasts 45 minutes. If you choose to stay afterwards, this is followed by Sunday school instruction taught in age groups. I highly recommend it!"
