"For now the best way using metro rail to get from LAX to Union Station"
"A convenient Metro Stop for C line which allows you to connect to other lines via Union. Take the M Shuttle (PINK) from any LAX terminal (World Way) and get off here. Platform was poorly maintained and you can spell pee everywhere, especially in elevator. Seemed safe enough. It might take sometime to find the correct Metro connection from LAX but be patient. In my experience it always took me less time travelling via Metro vs Taxi or driving (if you add time it takes to find parking). Get Transit app if you would like to use LA Metro or traveling to most bigger word cities with established public transportation system."
"I must say, public transit within the urban core of LA isn't nearly as bad as the stereotype, having lived in relatively populous smaller cities with truly abysmal public transit. I wish this station was a bit closer to the airport, but the shuttle from LAX is free, frequently running, and only a 5-10 minute ride. The platform looks pretty similar to platforms in New York, was decently well-lit, and there were enough people around I felt safe there as a woman after dark. The light rail was also perfectly fine, not overly busy, efficient, and well-lit as well. My main complaint was trying to get the card readers to read the TAP card on my phone was a major PITA! Had to line it up exactly right for it to work. Would recommend getting a pass at one of the machines instead. Accepting Apple/Google Pay would be a major step up and maybe incentivize more people to pay for their rides, since they wouldn't have to waste 2 min trying to line everything up correctly. Make it as convenient as possible, because nobody wants to miss their train trying to get the gate to open!"
"Personally I had a blast. People are very funny and I was laughing all through the ride. To all my visitors my advice is get the Tran easy one day card. You can use the train to go round LA and spend only $6. Supper cheap. You just hop from one train to the connecting one. However you have to understand and know the map. But you can never get lost. Again I rode the train at night and everything was quick for me. I don’t know about day time tho. Prolly should try that. Next time LAX. It’s a great experience."
"Not bad G bus takes a whole sometimes in /out of LAX if your taking that. Otherwise metro line not bad at all, and they got security now here so that's cool too..."
