"I had no idea I have a Grandfather buried at this cemetery. While attending a funeral my elderly mother who lives out of state told me her father died when she was 16 years old and is buried at Holy Cross. I went to the office after the service and they confirmed this. I was given a map and after several attempts to locate my Grandfather's grave I asked a groundskeeper for assistance, it turns out there's no marker on my Grandfather's grave. I've been attempting to place a marker for months but I have left messages with no return calls. My mother hopes before she dies she can visit her father's grave ."

"It's unfortunate that I have to turn to reviewing Holy Cross Cemetery here to hopefully recieve a response. I have two family members here and when I went for a recent visit this past Father's Day I realized someone had taken the vase for the flowers. I had to put my flowers in a water bottle. I called the main office and a very rude gentleman answered and abruptly told me that the vase are only covered for the 5 years for damages. I then told him it wasn't damaged. It wasn't even there, then forwarded to "management " where all I got was a voicemail where I could not even leave messages. I call back again and another person then proceeds to tell me that since it's been over 5 years I'd have to buy a new one. Absolutely unacceptable and absolutely not! The vase was clearly taken not damaged. I will be following up to get a copy of the said "agreement" that I signed saying it is only under warranty for 5 years for theft and or damages. So disappointing."

"I cannot express how much Lupe assisted us on June 22nd with removing over-grown grass and dirt that grew over our Dad’s flower container. He put so much care and effort while still kindly talking to us. He really went and above and beyond to help us as if it was his own relative. There was very little to clean when he was done. Thank you so much for making our day. We need more kind people like Lupe."

"READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS FIRST. They post a "we are sorry for your disappointing experience", but nothing changes. Nelida (Neli) Campos is the Assistant Manager and if this rude and incompetent person is who the Cemetery considers the standard for management, they don't deserve the business. She doesn't return calls, emails months later and has the mannerisms of an ignorant and entitled person. The casket we ordered supposedly didn't arrive for the service, so they put the body in just what they had... or an ultimatum that the service would have to be postponed though countless people from all over the world had flown in that day for the service. Many months later, there still isn't a placard. Though I've left 3 masseges, I have yet to hear from The Manager and it's a shame that these are the people who represent the Catholic Community. They just don't care about the grieving and the dead can't complain. I have over 58 million views of my Google reviews and I'm sure this review will go viral. Go somewhere else. I don't think Jesus minds where you buried the body. The body just needs to rest in peace and the grieving should be able to grieve in peace."

"More than 25 years ago, I made the decision to purchase six grave sites at the Holy Cross Cemetery, and since then, the prices have increased about 10 times. At the time, I wasn't entirely certain of what I was doing, but looking back now, it was one of the best decisions I made during my younger years. The cemetery has become a source of comfort and peace for me, reminding me to stay humble while living on this earth. Recently, we had two funeral services during the pandemic for my father-in-law and my mother. These experiences reinforced the significance of my earlier decision. During a short weekend trip to LA, I visited my mom's site with my older brother. We offered flowers, said short prayers, and took the time to clean the grave area. Each visit to the cemetery serves as a reminder that this may be my final resting place as well, prompting reflections on past memories and guiding how I should live in the present and future. There is no certainty about the future; all we have is the present, waiting day after day. As I visited the cemetery, I also prayed for all the souls in purgatory, embracing a sense of spiritual connection with those who have passed."
