Reviews of Upper Zuma Canyon Waterfall
"Hike was easy and there were wildflowers all along the way. The falls were impressive when I was there in the Spring with a good volume of water. Not crowded at all."
"This waterfall is there, I just came back from there, but to get here you have to follow another path. It is not far, but the path is difficult, there are many paths with lots of plants and branches along the way. Also many slippery stones. But when I was close I could hear the noise of the water. At the top of the waterfall the view is spectacular."
"The water is flowing nicely at the falls. There is a trail going up to the area where the rocks start. You can probably get right to the bottom of the falls if you want to rock scramble but we didn't want to do that today since we had our dog with us. Dogs are allowed on this section of the Backbone trail, on leash."
"We have had lots of rain in the last few weeks, so there is lots of water falling right now."
"Really off the beaten path. Literally. There’s a small trail off the main one. Wade through some brambles and snake areas to reach some boulders and beautiful trees. If you get close enough, you can hear the trickle of the water coming down the falls still."
