He offers sage advice when it comes to Art, even if it doesn't benefit a sale in his store but someone else's. He is a true professional! The art work he has in his store is awesome! "I stumbled into Simply Art while school clothes shopping with my 15-year old step daughter. Being an art enthusiast and artist myself, I was impressed with the selection of local artists, and the conversation I had with Jon. I immediately noticed most of the major named artists' works in the gallery were simply reproductions or prints, but also that Jon was honest about what he had, so there was no misunderstanding. We negotiated on a piece that was a print of a Banksy painting. I knew what it would cost to have the print done on canvas so I started there, and Jon was very honest with his pricing. At the end of the day, if you are going to buy a piece of art, do your research or know what you are buying before you buy. I'm happy I walked into the shop and look forward to not only shopping there again, but displaying my own work as well."

"I love this gallery! As an artist, this is the first time I have put any of my art in an art gallery. The owner is really honest and upfront about the terms of how your art will be sold on consignment. He takes a small percentage of the sales compared to other galleries which is really cool. I wasn't even sure how to price my art. The owner gave me advice and helped me figure out a price! He even told me to never undersell myself. The gallery owner really helped to boost my own self-confidence! I never had the confidence to sell my art before. I never thought it actually had value until I brought it in for the owner to look at. (I actually hid my art so no one would see it on the way in. ) I will definitely be coming here again to bring more art for sale! Yes, I did do a giddy dance when the gallery accepted my art! I love seeing my art up on the gallery wall among the other amazing artists who have theirs up for sale too. If you want reprints of your art, this gallery has options for giclee art prints. I am a digital artist as well as painting through traditional art, so this opens so many doors for me. I had so many questions about the art on the walls, and he told me which ones were reprints (by the numbers on the corners of the art) and which ones were originals. There are some I really wanted to buy, such as the "Dreamer Series" and the horses on the opposite wall. This gallery is new, so don't expect your art to go flying off the walls and into peoples hands. It is a community gallery, so we need to help promote it as artists and let our friends know. Have them check out your art in the gallery and spread the word. To the other artists already up on the walls: Oh my goodness! Your work is truly an inspiration to people like me. Each style is so different and I love how different things inspire you."

"The person that runs this art gallery JonJohnson is nothing but a scam... He is a complete fraud he claims these paintings are real and authentic well I bought a painting I took it too an appraiser and they told me that it was a fake!i!!! What I went back to complain to the owner Jon Johnson ( he will claim that he's not the owner whenever there's an issue but it's not true) basically told me too bad so sad .. then he proceeded to give me some sob story about how he doesn't have anything and that he lives at the gallery because he's homeless;!! how is that my problem I'm just something that was trying to buy an authentic piece of art buyer please beware; !!!!!"
