"This is worth the visit but most graves are unmarked and work is underway to increase the butterfly habitat. Family plots are still visible if not their markers. Some markers are last name only, no dead listed. Free. Nearby apartments will border the area."
"As a child my native heritage taught me to respect the resting place of our ancestors. As a child growing up in Oxnard, whos mother was raised in the area, we were taken to the Japanese cemetery and the PV Cemetery and we reflected on the lives lived and past buried on these lands. To see this burial site used as a place to party ... I am saddened and the souls of the lost are saddened. Burial grounds are sacred and should be honored as such. The monarchs and the dead are both sacred to our people and neither should be disturbed for the entertainment of man. Let both rest in this sacred place."
"A very peaceful place, where one can walk and breath clean air."
"This the site of the Monarch Overwintering Habitat being developed by the Resource Conservation District and AMPM a nonprofit dedicated to saving the monarchs."
"Filled with history and nature it's a wonderful place to visit adopt a plot today"
