Reviews
"Mom and I visited my brother yesterday and the grounds look great! His stone and area are super clean. My brother loved to visit his loved ones at Ivy Lawn and loved the Ivy Lawn Family. We miss you Rudy!"
"I have several relatives buried here. I haven't personally dealt with the office or staff, so I cannot add stars for that, but overall the park looks tidy. I don't understand the reviews complaining about the plant holders. Crab grass grows fast and is very strong. If the staff cleared them ALL out routinely they'd never get it done or get sleep. You have to request for a specific grave to be maintained at that level, like my grandma does. However, I do have one suggestion and that is to once in awhile give some tlc to the older graves. Just cause people may have moved or there might no longer be loved ones to visit the graves shouldn't mean they aren't somewhat cleaned up and restored. It's just depressing to think about some of the graves never getting love."
"it's a nice lay out, beautiful statues and a restroom in the back. I will leave a few pointers that where you can look into for a 4 or possibly a 5. 1. The place is closed by 4p even during spring time. 2. The flowers we leave are always gone 2 days later. ( Between my brother, sister, niece, and close friends we communicate with each other.) No wonder most graves look abandoned 3. When our loved one passed, no one said sorry for your loss or anything like that. It was straight to rules. We have loved onces in other Cemeteries here in Ventura county and we hade a different experience with them. So I know it's not just about Business."
"This owner DOES NOT CARE. None of their policies are in favor of the family. And yes, the owner will respond to this because she has no shame yet will need to prove she can use big words. They claim it's the funeral homes responsibility to bring pallbearers, but when my grandpa's casket entered the cemetery and nobody was helping lift up the one corner we needed so that the three of us can get the casket into the device, nobody was looking after my family's best interest. I will never stop dragging this cemeterys name through the mud because they didn't care that we had to drag our grandpa across the mud (WHILE IN in their property, NOT the funeral home's jurisdiction) to get my grandpa to the device. The employees stood around and did nothing while we struggled. This is abuse. My grandpa had committed to being buried years ago before he knew how terrible it had become. JEANNE or whatever her name is(NOT The young woman in their YELP account) will suffer and answer to her maker when all is said and done. This is unacceptable. No one's going to read this review and actually do something about it. But at least it takes the itch off of cleaning the mud off my shoes after my grandpa's burial this year go away."
