"Went to this doctor for a medical insurance 1st appointment physical , he said you've got 5 minutes what's most important.... I told him my lower back has been extremely painful, he brushed me off and said there was most likely nothing wrong with me, I told him I wanted an MRI to see what was actually wrong, he refused, I offered to pay out of pocket and he referred me as self pay. After the mri his physician assistant called and said the MrI was clear, absolutely nothing wrong and nothing that would indicate why I was in pain... after 3 years of more debilitating pain and escalating symptoms I got ahold of the report, History: Low back pain Comparison: None Technique: Multi-sequence, multiplanar MRI imaging of the lumbar spine obtained without contrast. 1.5 Tesla. Contrast: None. FINDINGS: Mildly heterogeneous marrow signal. No acute fracture. Unremarkable conus. Lower lumbar disc desiccation. Mild to moderate lower lumbar facet arthropathy with ligamentum flavum thickening. Segmental analysis: L1-2: Minimal retrolisthesis. Small disc bulge No central or neural foraminal stenosis. L2-3: Mild retrolisthesis. Small disc bulge. No central or neural foraminal stenosis L2-3: Mild retrolisthesis. Small disc bulge. No central or neural foraminal stenosis. L3-4: Mild retrolisthesis. Small disc bulge. No central or neural foraminal stenosis. L4-5: Mild retrolisthesis. Small disc bulge, asymmetric to the left with annular fissure. Left lateral recess stenosis with left L5 nerve root effacement. Left ventral thecal sac compression and mild left central narrowing. Moderate left neural foraminal stenosis with nerve root effacement. Patent right neural foramen. L5-S1: Degenerative endplate/marrow changes with disc space narrowing. Grade 1 retrolisthesis. Small disc bulge/pseudodisc bulge. No significant central stenosis, Moderate neural foraminal stenosis. IMPRESSION: MILD TO MODERATE LOWER LUMBAR DEGENERATIVE CHANGES AS DESCRIBED LEFT L4-5 LATERAL RECESS STENOSIS. MODERATE LEFT L4-5 AND BILATERAL L5-$1 NEURAL FORAMINAL STENOSIS. NO SIGNIFICANT CENTRAL STENOSIS. MILD MULTILEVEL RETROLISTHESIS This clown never read the report and made up his findings, I'm filing a complaint with the medical board. This guy is so deep in his own ego he couldn't care less about the people he's supposed to help. Who pulls stunts like that? This guy should have his license pulled."

"Dr. Korff has been primary care physician for the last three years and I am very happy with his care. He is intelligent and experienced. He has been able to quickly prescribe, diagnose or refer me on a variety of health issues. He just moved to a new modern office which is very clean and right in the heart of the village."

"This man, while I'm sure his intentions are good, made me feel utterly invalidated as a patient. I would not recommend him to anyone. He is intelligent, and I'm sure that there are many pleasant aspects of his personality, but he is devoid of the empathy that allows for effective communication. In this way, one feels personally attacked. He spoke to me in a condescending tone and lacked the ability to go past his own ego and consider my experience. I would not recommend his practice."

"Judging by the other reviews I must have really got under his skin. First off the staff was wonderful. I walked in with blood work that I was requested to get by my insurance, in order to receive receive counseling for my mental health. And to talk about if I might be starting metapause. He didn't introduce him self, but insted literally walked in screaming at me how he doesn't take orders from other people, actually threw my paper work to the side, and continued to yell. I was not able to get a word in, as I listed to him scream at me for the first 5 mins of the appointment. The rest of the appointment was rough. I asked him if I could be starting metapause. He went on a rant about homeopaths and the tests they try to make him do, though I never mentioned anything about them. Checked my reflexes and my lyphnodes. He offered an anti-depressant "if you want". I said no. Said he'd grant me my blood work like he's doing me a favor. Made off hand comments about the tests they wanted, and left me there in shock, mouth open, frozen. The girl doing the transcript, was blushing the whole time knowing how inappropriate that was. She had to come back to tell me what to do, and where to wait. I would have walked out, but moving forward with getting help was more important to me than being right. Providers have time limits. I just need to mention that due to the nature of my visit. I am lucky that I am a strong enough person to realize that was not my fault. And that acting out like that could have had some serious effects on a person in a fragile state of mind. I won't go back and I don't recommend this doctor."

"Dr. Korff is very compassionate and thorough, and asked very pertinent questions to my daughters hospitalization. He is very knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. He made himself available outside office hours if medication or medical issues should arise."
