"Dr Olinia Harwer unknowingly saved my life in 1998. She diagnosed me in one visit for a life threating condition. I would not be here today if she had not helped me find treatment. Today is April 2, of 2023 and time I thanked her! Thank you Dr Harwer."
"Zero stars. Dr Harwer doesn't even deserve the doctor title. She is rude, condescending, and is halfway out the door when you speak to her. I hurt my back at work and I'm almost 100% positive I herniated a disc - after telling her I have numbness and pain down my leg she finally got an X-ray and than came back in said that my discs do look closer together but it was "genetic," and then sent me off for 2 weeks. Flash forward 2 weeks to today where she finally ordered me an MRI and said she thinks it's a herniated disc but now it's going to take weeks to get an MRI (due to insurance, which I understand) but the fact is she doesn't listen, she doesn't know what she's talking about (I'm a nurse I know when a doctor is a good doctor) and she avoids getting you the help you need. She is unprofessional, and if you have to go here then I formally apologize, just be prepared for all of this. Good luck."
"I saw Dr. Olina Harwer about 5 years ago and I had a terrible experience with her . She was too not very thorough and eager to prescribe me medicine. I told her specifically I did not want to take any addictive medicine (i.e. Xanax , Valium , etc) and asked her to put it in my chart. A few weeks later I went to see her on a follow up and told her the non narcotic medicine she prescribed me wasn't working and if she had any other options for me . She asked me mom chalantly "do you want Xanax, Ativan , or Valium ?" I told her I didn't want any of that and when she left the room I asked the nurse if the chart had been updated with my request to not receive narcotic medication . The nurse told me it WAS in fact in my chart , so Dr. Harwer must have not read it when she saw me. The nurses were always pleasant and seemed more capable than Dr. Harwer . I would not recommend seeing this doctor , I switched to Dr. Pagal in Laguna Niguel and she was amazing and very thorough ."
"Dr. Harwer was incredibly rude and unprofessional, she said "too may questions you have!" Really?!!! I'm asking my doctor too many questions?!!! No, too few answers you have. I went to her requesting a referral to a specialist, which she refused to give me, because she wanted to diagnose and treat my issues herself. No, thanks! What is her motivation to refuse a referral... money? She didn't even touch me, or look closely at the issues, she was across the room from me. I've never had a doctor diagnose me from across the room before. I doubt that is proper. Worst experience with a doctor ever."
"I have been going to Dr. Harwer for about 3 yrs now, i do know it gets busy and i have had to wait as much as 15 min past my scheduled appointment, however in her defense - i never see her just lolly gagging about NOT doing anything, and these types of small healthcare offices, i have learned never run according to schedule. Everybody has their own personal issues that they wait until they see the doctor to discuss taking more time then allotted. For me, It s good to know she does not need the clientele. now maybe i will wait less time :D"
