"PACE is a one stop shop for vulnerable seniors. The goal is the keep seniors safe and healthy in their own home, and to provide them with continuous care where they are often checked in on and cared for, and support in most area of their daily life. This location just recently opened up in Long Beach, and I'm so grateful that they finally came to Long Beach, and that my mom is one of the first cohort of seniors that was enrolled in this program. The elders are one of the most neglected population in the US, and PACE does an amazing job at restoring care towards this vulnerable population, especially in the state of the world that we currently live in. Everyone that I've talked that work at this location has been just terrific people to talk to, and just overall, warm, kind, and compassionate people. This is greatly appreciated and refreshing for the medical field. It's a great relief to know all the medical providers/care takers are in communication with each other, so that they're on the same page. I'm also deeply grateful that they are tech-competent and that they are one email away. Since I live far away from my mom, it makes keeping up with my mom's health so much easier, and I can sleep better at night, knowing that I'm not the only one caring for her. It's also reassuring that patients have access to a nurse 24/7. There's many more benefits to list here, but the most priceless of all is the feeling that the team really care for their patients. It's a beautiful world that we live in when we have caretakers like this. The community is lucky to have a PACE program here, and I hope that they continue to keep the great work!"
