"This place is horrible. Something is truly wrong with Dr. Argueta. I went for a simple pre-op physical and I think because he didn’t understand or he just didn’t feel like doing it, he refused to see me. He was asking me a bunch of questions I felt like he should know the answers to, especially since I’ve been here before. he was out sick so I was seen by a much nicer doctor while he was out. So I think he got mad once I started explaining to him what needs to be done, I’m not really sure because he just abruptly walked out saying he wouldn’t see me to my surprise. I mean he literally walked out of the room saying he won’t do it. Even his staff was confused!!! I was like what??? Why?? I never raised my voice or said anything disrespectful or anything. Crazy! DONT GO HERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. HES NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THESE TIMES AND NEW PROCEDURES. If I could give zero stars I would."

"I was a patient at 1st Stop (previously Coastal Medical) for over 20 years. Dr Ostriker & his PA's & staff were fabulous...TRUE patient care. However he had to sell the practice due to personal health issues & since then, the level of care & office efficiency, organization & competence has greatly suffered to the point that I left as a patient a few months ago. Even now, I have tried to get a copy of my medical file for months to no avail. Everyone seems nice & helpful but never calls back or follows up on anything and there'sa lot of turnover. They don't even manage the phone system. You either get a live person or a msg saying the mailbox is full. They're aware of it; just don't care. If you have an urgent need to see someone for a flu vaccine or antibiotic but are otherwise healthy, it's fine but if you're looking for long term care or have serious health issues, keep looking."

"Dr. Argueta knows how to make a patient comfortable, he listens well, process information, and give his opinion, he is very knowledgeable and informative, my two parents are very comfortable with him. on the other hand the clinic is a bit old, all the devices are old, they don't take blood samples at the clinic, but I still don't mind that for the good service I receive from the doctor and the staff. the only one thing I hate about this clinic is the delay in refilling prescriptions, and the fact that I wait 30 min over the phone to make an appointment, It was never this way before, just recently things changed and most processes slowed down since the girl named Cindy quit."

"Definitely the worst possible clinic I have been to. The wait is always 1-2hours with appointment. They have no patients but still have a long wait time. Note: They accept appt only. They take people in based on their insurance, not the time they came in. Treat people differently based on their insurance. Phone calls is 30-1 hr hold. Simple questions require 5 differ people to answer and always an incorrect answer. Constant gossiping about patients in front of everyone."
