"Second visit within a month. No one here seems to be in the right profession. Odyssey was very rough during blood draw when my hand was clearly swollen. Neither of the other employees were friendly. Find another job if you can't treat people with compassion while at their most vulnerable. I've been here nearly 7 hours still only blood draw and anti-inflammatory have been given to me! I've asked 3 people to give me the medication the doctor recommended 1.5 hours ago!!! Everything was quick, but I was told I was seeing a doctor yet saw NP. NP told me a urine culture was being done, but it never was. I've waited a week, as NP Jesus indicated, only to discover they did not do the culture. Also, no privacy; staff ask all sorts of personal/invasive questions in front of everyone else. A couple other minor hiccups therefore 3 stars."
"took my mom here because she was extremely ill and this place is barbaric. what emergency room sends patients back into the waiting room with an iv in their arm? you wait forever, they call your name to do a test then send you back. and its back and fourth like that for HOURS. and when i went to use the restroom, there was blood on the floor. this place should be shut down"
"I came here on 7/31/24 at 4pm. There was no line to check in and lobby maybe had less than 10 people. The lady who checked me in with long lashes was very robotic, not warm or friendly at all for being in the emergency room check in so, I thought she is the face of this ER is this how everyone is going to be?? I don't feel good and don't need attitude from healthcare employees who are supposed to be loving and caring. I was immediately called to first triage which was 2 ladies literally asking me questions one after another. This was extremely annoying. Did it really take 2 employees to ask me about my symptoms??? Then I was called 3 more times in different triages. EKG, xray and blood drawing. Diamond drew my blood and she was super nice and professional. Now an hour goes by after having these tests done to go see the doctor. I had the pleasure in meeting Dr. Deny who was extremely thorough and professional. I did not feel rushed at all in fact I probably rushed him just wanting to go home... My nurse was, Mel he was super nice and professional as well. My 3 stars is due to the wait time after you're put in a bed. Initially Dr. Deny saw me within 15 minutes but did not return for 2 hours to go over all test results. I feel there is something lacking for such a long wait time, I know it's the ER but 2 hours!!!! I also noticed when u check in if they need a urine sample from you they give you the cup and bag. The bathroom is about 30 feet away from where your supposed to bring it back to which is on a cart in the lobby!!!!!! So everyone can see you carrying your urine How is that not in HIPPA violation?? It's disgusting, Providence! You can do better I was at the ER for 6 hours! A total of 5 hours of just waiting!!!!!"
"Worst experience I’ve had in my whole life at a hospital. Completely bizarre. 3h in an emergency room to be offer a “Tylenol” and to be recommended an X-Ray for a tendon/muscle tear, which makes absolutely no sense. Was told it would take up to 5h to be seen by a doctor and that I should do the exam they told me because an MRI – the exam I need – it’s “too expensive”. I can’t believe this palace. Go somewhere else!"
"Came to the ER with abdominal pain and nausea at 11:00pm on Tuesday. The one good thing I did get pain meds to help. My wait was about 4 hours at 3am Ct scan showed appendicitis. I waited until 4:30 found out they didn’t have any beds I was told I will have an appendectomy at 5:30. They took my to a holding room as I waited for surgery. Went into surgery at 6:45pm Wednesday. I was told I’d have a hospital room after surgery. Instead I ended back I. The holding room. My nurse was new she was pretty nervous. Asked me how do I want my heparin. I asked was that prescribed by the doctor she couldn’t tell me. Then she asked do you refuse to take it. I said if the doctor prescribed it yes, if your just giving to me for no reason NO. I was told I’d get a regular hospital room later on the next morning. It’s 11:14am on Thursday. I’m still in this bootleg recovery room. My CNA has the worst attitude. We are staked I’m these beds like sardines. And I just want to go home."
