"They abuse there kids they don’t know how to take care of those poor kids they need help have called the cops over and over again for the screaming"
"This place is awful. I am still dealing with trauma from being there almost 15 years ago. There was abuse. Medical abuse. The doctors there loaded me up on meds that caused me develop tardive dyskinesia. When I was forcibly removed due to ABUSE by them the doctors treating me after were scared the tardive dyskinesia would be permanent. And there was no possible was it could of been an accident. Its insane to me that the facility is still up in running. Also the pictures make it looks so much nicer than it is. We were never allowed outside. Only in a cage. The place was awful. Staff were all awful. Witnessed multiple people being violently abused by staff."
"I went there a long time ago. In the 90's. The place is not the best . Some people made it easier for me. Johnny was my staff member at the time. The place dose not look like that when I was growing up there. I did have good memories and bad ones to. Playing baseball there on the track field . Working at the coffee hut and gardening washing cars in the back parking lot was good for me. I never got to go home. Feeding the homeless was something else they did and the neighbors never had a issue back then. I met my best friend / boyfriend my one true love there. He made it easier to be there. I miss you Chitwan I hope you made it out ok. It's a bittersweet kind of thing. Some of the girls back then was my only family. I miss you Sky and Sheila and Dorothy and Mercedes. I miss getting my hair done and my therapist was a wonderful person she really did want to help those kids back then ."
"I know a lady who was ask to leave the Torrance Facility after beating up a child instead of firing her they ask her to resign . That place needs to be investigated. The system is corrupt. I ask why didn’t they report her for child abuse and fire her they hung up on me . When I mentioned the employee name . True Story"
"My child is trapped in a nightmare there. Staff are abusive. She's gotten worse. I feel like I've lost the love of my life to this money grabbing cps ran insane asylum. She was normal with problems of course, their bottom like in money. Disrespecting my child daily. She scared, confused, depressed and so angry. They make up rules as they go. No one accepts responsibility. Their therapist is cold, rude clinical with no empathy. Obviously can't have a private practice so she works at institutions bc they are ordered to see her. It needs to be investigated. My daughter is slowly dying. I cry everyday, but starview protects no one but themselves and their company. Leaving the children, my child more traumatized. Shame on you. DO NOT EVER SEND YOUR CHILD THERE."
