"So far my experiences at this office have been great!! They are really friendly and understanding."
"5/5 for Dr. Dickey. I've been seeing her for about 5 years now and she was able to track down a genetic condition I have and prescribed me the correct medication for some mental health issues I've been suffering from the past decade or so. I understand it's frustrating trying to get a hold of someone in the office but as someone that sees her every 6 months for bloodwork checkups, I see how busy the office assistants are with answering phones, checking patients in/out, setting up future appointments and taking care of everyone in the waiting rooms. In my opinion, patience is a virtue. Last time I called, the person answering the phone politely told me I had 2 callers ahead of me and I waited until it was my turn, got my bloodwork faxed to Quest, went over my next appointment and took care of everything in a timely manner. One other thing to add for those that are tech savvy, they have a newly updated Patient Portal and I've rescheduled appointments numerous times that way without having to call in. It was quick and easy and I even have the option or messaging Dr. Dickey, which I did, for a refill on my asthma medication and it was sent to my pharmacy. Dr. Dickey is and will continue to be my PCP!"
"Dear Dr. Dickey, I have been unable to actually see you because at my first appointment, as I arrived, I was told you were running 45 min behind. Unfortunately, I was unable to wait because my time is valuable, and I have others who rely on me. I called in January to make an appointment for a physical and was told I needed to wait until April, so I scheduled for April. Unfortunately, I developed a sinus infection that I tried to deal with for 4 weeks but couldn't kick. I called to make an appointment, and after calling twice and being told by the automated system that all lines were busy, then waiting another 12 minutes for a human to make an appointment, I was able to do so for the following day. The day of my appointment I was called by an extremely rude male stating he didn't realize I had never seen you, so he would have to cancel my appointment. I tried explaining that I had been treated by your nurse practitioner, whom you must cosign for, and that in fact I was not a new patient to your practice. As we continued to disagree on the facts, I asked for him to have you call me: that never happened. I came up to my scheduled appointment (after receiving emails and text reminders from Dignity about my scheduled appointment), only to be met by another very rude female at the front desk. She stated she had spoken with you, and you refused to see me. As a practicing clinician with management responsibilities, I would be embarrassed and concerned if any of my staff ever treated any patient this way. I subsequently went to urgent care and had a lovely experience. I am sorry that I have wasted so much of my time and energy trying to get in to see you, and will decidedly pay more attention to honest reviews (of clinicians and staff) prior to choosing an MD."
"Dr. Dickey’s office is horrible, the back office always behind my refills always late because Dr. Forget to filled out diagnostic codes, I sent messages to doctor they say we are behind, honestly they do not put their patients first. I finally moved to another PCP sent medical records request on 10/22 it is 04/23 the office received it 10/22 they have not been sent yet because they are very inefficient. Do not go there! Eva Vera"
"Dr. Dickey herself is an incredible and caring doctor. I would give her 5 stars alone, but her office is garbage and the reason for the 1 star review. For starters, they don't answer the phone. I've tried multiple extensions and can't get through to a person most of the time and when I do it's only to be placed on hold for a long period of time, over an hour in one case. I've tried reaching medical records and the call just drops without going to VM or a desk so it's impossible to get ahold of them. Secondly, they are slow to notify of results and extremely disorganized. I was sent an older man's MRI results when I should have received my ultrasound results. Who got sent my results, who knows. The worst part was the results carried PHI. I tried to file a complaint but got no response. I doubt the girl even passed the message along to the ombudsman to be honest. To summarize, Dr. Dickey is great but her office is a lawsuit waiting to happen."
