Reviews
"Wonderful bookstore- warm and inviting. the selection of books very well edited and I found lots of good books without being overwhelmed. The displays were very artistically done really cute and modern"
"A cute book shop if you like Jesus."
"Best bookstore we have visited in years! It's small, but they have so many good titles. The owner is friendly too. $3 per used softback and $5 per used hardback. They also have new books and some great classics."
"Butterfat Books was a great treat to find in the heart of Ferndale. The woman working was knowledgeable about the town and helped direct us to a great pizza place down the road. They also had a selection of "mystery" books wrapped in brown paper that made gifts when we got home."
"Butterfat Books is a throwback in the best way. I don't know that I would ever buy new books from a non-radical bookstore, so I didn't pay much attention to them, but the used section was one of the best I've been to in the past decade. Paperbacks for $3 and hardcovers for $5 seems absolutely insane and I'm here for it! The selection wasn't the greatest I've seen but I was able to find two bags full of quality books for like $30. If I'm ever with 50 miles of Ferndale I will definitely go back to Butterfat. I didn't love that they were christians (those people kind of freak me out) but I won't take off any stars for that."
