"Avoid this location. 85% of the items are locked up to prevent theft, and there's NEVER enough employees available with a key. It's barely possible to shop here. 20 mins waiting to access a stick of deodorant + 15 minutes standing in line = too much time getting just 1 item."
"Tried to get prescription from one store other some other stores don’t know why one store not responding have used store for many years and you should be honest instead of delaying prescriptions and then saying could take 6-8 for refill I was willing to pay higher cost for trust now in some stores you don’t even have a pharmacist to access prescription status except a recording that says maybe tomorrow and others in your own staff that don’t know, let me know when you are back to a competitive level and will contact you then. Good luck and please don’t play with peoples lives."
"This is a decently large CVS store in Downtown Long Beach. I only came here looking for a TAP card vending machine. The address TAPtoGo.net gives is 598 Long Beach Boulevard which one would think is next to this CVS but it isn’t. It’s on the median of Long Beach Boulevard on the train platform. I won’t be frequenting due to the distance from my home and feeling generally unsafe in Downtown Long Beach."
"After waiting in line for 15-20minutes, the pharmacist pulled up my ready for pickup prescription. When she saw my prescription and saw my state sponsored insurance she sent me to the back of another line and THREW the pill bottles on a desk. When I said I didn't have time to wait more and I would have to come back, she didn't even bother to make sure my order wasn't being lost in the shuffle. When I said I don't like how I was being treated, a superior stepped in and was able to complete my transaction in less then 3 minutes. When I brought this up to management, they didn't take my complaint seriously and instead tried to gaslight me saying that there wasn't anything wrong with the situation."
"My recent visit to this pharmacy left me with a rather lackluster impression. While it fits the description of a run-of-the-mill establishment, it's hard to overlook the evident wear and tear, contributing to an overall dilapidated ambiance. The presence of several unhoused individuals at the front entrance added an uncomfortable element to the experience, making it feel somewhat unsafe and unkempt. Navigating through this environment was not only unappealing but also created an atmosphere that left me uneasy. One notable flaw is the choice of carpet as the flooring material, which seems ill-suited for a high-traffic area like a pharmacy. It not only appears worn and stained but also contributes to the general sense of neglect in the space. In conclusion, while the pharmacy may serve its basic purpose, the run-down condition and the unwelcoming atmosphere, exacerbated by the presence of unhoused individuals, make it a less-than-ideal option for those seeking a pleasant and secure shopping experience."
