"Worst CVS in the area. Always busy, issues filling prescriptions (for me and others in line), lotto machine broken, never tells me prescriptions are filled. You’ll leave a voicemail and never hear a response again. Contrast this with the CVS in Westchester right up the road… what a difference! May be worth trying Walgreens or even going up Lincoln. I assume because it’s the only one nearby. 9PM and eight customers in line just to pick up. Then they’ll move you to consult because something is jacked up lol. Just watched it happen repeatedly again. This pharmacy works 24 hours. Which makes sense, because it’ll take them a business day to fill anything."
"Happy I have a CVS within walking distance. Don't like the confusing aisle structure. I found sunscreen in three separate aisles. Cotton Ovals were located in two areas. Don't understand the methodology...its a bit confusing...and I don't confuse easily. Also mishmash of aisles is dangerous, in case of emergency."
"If it was possible, it would be 0 stars Today, I visited my local CVS store, 13171 Mindanao Way Marina del Rey, CA 90292 United States, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. I've never felt so out of place and unwelcome in my life. I entered the store to purchase items for myself and my sister. When I needed assistance in the deodorant aisle, an older lady responded to the customer service button. Unlike previous experiences where staff handed me the items, she insisted on placing them upfront. Initially, I rationalized this, assuming it might be due to the time or price of the items. However, when I needed assistance in the razor aisle, the same treatment persisted – by the same lady items were placed upfront without explanation. It was in the detergent aisle that I realized something was amiss. A younger lady responded to the customer service button this time and allowed me to keep the items with me. This contrast made me question if the previous staff member had doubted my intentions to pay for the items. During checkout, I encountered further distress. As I approached the self-checkout, my intention was simply to ensure my coupons were applied correctly. Initially, the attendant, who appeared to be in charge of assisting at the self-checkout, greeted me kindly and agreed when I informed her I would be conducting multiple transactions. However, when I proceeded with my second transaction and requested that she retrieve the items the older lady had placed upfront, the situation took a turn. The attendant initially agreed but was contradicted by another lady working at the cashier, who insisted I couldn't check out the items myself. This led to confusion and frustration on my part. Despite my explanations that I had always been able to do so in the past, the attendant remained firm, claiming the system didn't allow it. Feeling increasingly upset, I reluctantly moved to the register to pay. As I placed my items on the counter, my emotions overwhelmed me, and I couldn't hold back tears. I expressed to the cashier how their actions were making me feel, hoping for some understanding. Although she attempted to rectify the situation by allowing me to check out my items myself, the damage had been done. I was left feeling deeply uncomfortable and angered by what seemed like profiling and discrimination. The emotional toll of this experience was evident when I began to cry. Suddenly, the same attendant who had refused my request earlier relented and allowed me to proceed with the self-checkout. This sudden change only reinforced my belief that I was unfairly treated based on stereotypes or prejudices. As a resident of this neighborhood and a professional with the ability to afford my purchases, I am deeply troubled by the discrimination I faced. No one should be judged or treated differently based on their ethnicity or background. I intend to follow up to address this matter formally"
"First of all, thank you to all the ladies and gentleman who sacrifice time with family/friends to work, especially on Holidays. While I had a lovely Christmas Eve meal, I suddenly fell ill after the meal (note, I was the only one who became ill in my group). I won't go into all the details, but I called the Nurse's hotline and was advised to stay hydrated and eat soft starchy foods like saltine crackers. I didn't feel well all night, and somehow managed to drive to this location to purchase unflavored pedialyte and saltine crackers. Tom, who has worked at this location for years, helped me quickly find what I was looking for and checked me out. After visiting this CVS and getting what I needed to recover, I was able to sleep for about 8 hours on Christmas Day and feel well enough to make it to dinner on Christmas Day, though I remained cautious about what I ordered. The store is clean, well-organized and operated efficiently. The parking lot is free and provides easy access to the store. I am grateful for Tom and the staff at this location for going out of their way to ensure customers get the help they need and leave feeling satisfied. A reminder to all to please be kind to all the service providers out there."
"This CVS in the Marina would be great if the Pharmacy had a clue what they were doing. When you put in a script good luck to getting it when they say. They are always running out of things, that you sort of need to live. They don't text when something is ready and they confuse the Minute Clinic with the Pharmacy. I just got two shots there and they had a hard time finding the paperwork we did on line and it had to be done again. It was a wait and I was not happy with all the confusion. However, the staff helping me was very nice. The CVS itself is clean and well organized."
