"It is a pleasure to relate my satisfaction with the work of Armando Santiago and ARSA Construction. Major projects they have completed include a fireplace stonework, two baths, 310’ feet of 6’ fencing with sliding gate and interior carpentry. Every job they have done has been perfect. Everything is plumb and square and beautiful. I am amazed at their precision, range of skills and artistry. The fireplace stone goes from the floor to the 25’ ceiling, is 6’. They helped us pick out the colors and suggested we include a small batch of a third color. They have an amazing eye for mixing the colors. Everyone that sees it is impressed with its beauty. It is the centerpiece of the house. The baths have travertine flooring and wainscoting with ceramic tile trim. The floor pattern is laid out carefully and avoids thin strips of tile on the edges. They fabricated the corners from travertine slabs and they are beautiful. Likewise with the door and window trim. The large tiled shower is absolutely plumb which made for a successful glass door installation. Both baths are like sanctuaries. The deer fencing is custom horizontal redwood in the front and it looks great. No one has fencing like this. The also fabricated a 12’ sliding access gate with steel frame. The gate is covered with the same material and is invisible from the front. The gate slides on a steel runner imbedded in a concrete footing and will never sag. In the back we have severe slopes but they capably completed the perimeter fence. He constructed a beautiful fence with all of the top rails in a perfectly straight line. They have done considerable carpentry too. Some of it is to prepare for the stonework and tile and some for walls that were moved or added. In one case they removed a loadbearing wall to expand our second-floor family room. For this job they had to install a 20’ 10x16” glulam inside the house, along with new footings in the basement. The room turned out great. Armando is an amazing craftsman. He is precise. He is versatile. He is an artist. I have never met anyone like him. I look forward to employing him on future jobs at my house."
