"How about 5 stars for NOT doing the job! Our new house came with the steepest driveway one could imagine. While my Subaru had no issues going up it and into the garage, our Tesla could not make the short journey without bottoming out (or so it seemed) I contracted Alfonso at Bedrock who drove all the way from Petaluma to give us a quote on a new driveway. He could have given us quote, we would have made the appointment and been fine. He was curious and insisted on me driving the Tesla up the driveway so he could assess the severity of the incline and where contact was being made. I drove drove the Tesla up- felt the "rub" ... Alfonso, who was laying on his side the whole time was examing where the proported contact was being made. He stood up and shook his head. "Your car has enough clearance. It is not grounding against the driveway. What you think is a rub is actually a scrub. Your one rear tire is doing a short spin as you go up the driveway. Try it again and apply a bit more accelleration." It was answer, the "cure" and saved us not only the money for a driveway we didn't need, but likely the cost of a new car! Alfonso wouldn't take a dime for his time. If you're looking on sites for concrete work, stop. This the guy you want."

From the initial visit and the thorough written proposal, I felt confident my project and my concerns were important to them. The job was addressed in a timely fashion, despite weather delays. "Our family had the best experience with Bedrock - Alfonso is an amazing contractor to work with, and his crew worked hard and had a great attitude. We shopped around over 20 quotes for patio job in the North Bay, and not only was Alfonso's quote the lowest, he was one of the most responsive and took great pride in his work. When we had a change order to replace the steps around our sunroom he didn't up charge us, but actually included it in the price because he stands by the quality of his finished product. I will add photos of the landscaping when it's done too, as that really shows off how great of a job they did, but we are so in love with our patio and it has made our yard the focus of our lives. When our 2 pups escaped mid-concrete grooming the crew was very understanding despite the inconvenience of getting paw prints out of the wet concrete. Thanks guys!
