"We were pleasantly surprised to find such an amazing cafe located inside the Mendocino Botanical Gardens! We were traveling along CA Coastal Hwy1 from San Francisco to Leggett and included a visit to the gardens specifically to see their dahlia garden. We were not disappointed! See my review and pictures! The menu had a variety of choices catering to adults and kids. Strawberry lemonade, hot teas and chocolate, fresh baked cookies and muffins, along with locally made ice cream. Fresh seasonal veggies from the garden’s vegetable patch are used in homemade soups, sandwiches, and salads. You do not need to purchase an admission ticket to enjoy eating lunch at Rhody’s Garden Cafe. The food is fresh, delicious, affordable, high quality, and served with a smile.
