Reviews
"A place with a very particular history, an Argentine flag flies thanks to Hipolito Bouchard who in 1818 landed there burning all Spanish possessions. At that time Monterey was the capital of California so during the six days that the capture lasted, it was Argentine. There is a commemorative plaque that explains what happened next to the flag pole. We wrote a detailed review of the visit on our blog along with an Instagram reel that reached almost half a million views."
