"Stopped at this rest stop both north and southbound. Both were super clean. Music playing, obviously just wiped down, not to mention, the short walking trail through the redwood trees on the northbound side. Nice work California!"

"June 2024. We crashed here for about 6 hours. No one hassled us. It was pretty quiet. There's a nice, little salt and pepper basalt sand beach here. No shells. Cool beach for a short walk with yer pooch or to watch the fog roll in, though. Most people had their dogs off-leash but appeared to be mindful of others with dogs. THERE IS NO WATER HERE AT ALL, NOR ARE THERE ANY RV DUMP STATIONS OR ELECTRIC HOOKUPS. JUST PARKING, RESTROOMS, AND THE BEACH. RESTROOMS ARE A HOLE IN THE FLOOR. NO SINKS. That said, we were grateful for this stop, especially after driving 299 from Redding through the mountains. Nice place to rest up, and to rest the Winnie."
"This is a wonderful rest stop. If your heading north on Hwy 101 north to toward Oregon, this is a wonderful place that you strech your legs and enjoy some beautiful Redwoods. There was plenty of room for Ms. COACH & Escape Pod. Restrooms are older, but clean. Great for your pets as well."
"Clean restroom and nice redwood forest that we can stretch and take a walk around it after a long drive. Very well maintained and full of educational background. Nice to see this for the travelers and families to learn more about the forest and nature."
