"Really nice little hiking area"
"Loved seeing the salmon run at the mouth of the Klamath. Seals, sea lions and gulls feeding. Didn't see any eagles the day we went. Lots to explore and a town nearby for food. Great place to take the kids."
"I am completely amazed at how beautiful klamath river and klamath beach are. I went up for the salmon fishing and had a good time. I am definitely going back up to klamath again soon."
"Nice view. Hike down the hill and then south on the beach. Plenty of wild life. Locals fishing with a lamprey. Awesome to see the Klamath river meet with the Pacific ocean."
"This is known locally as Klamath Beach. It's 1.3 miles past Kamp Klamath where the mouth of the Klamath River meets the Pacific Ocean. The Ocean is very rough here with very strong waves and rip tides, but a sand bar separates the river from the Ocean and you can swim on the river side of the sand bar. This beach is a driftwood heaven. I've never seen so much accumulated driftwood from winter storms. There are also tribal structures adjacent to the beach as this is Yurok Indian country."
