"Needed gas. Should have gotten it while in San Diego. Got more pricey after we left."
"Convenient location right off the freeway exit at Pico. Locate by a drive through Starbucks and McDonald’s."
"Rude and unfriendly service. I went inside and took a coffee. When I went to the counter to pay, the women asked “Are you going to pay for that?”. I gave her a puzzled look, why otherwise would I be at the counter? I paid and then she started arguing about the fact that I had stopped in front, even though I made sure not to block anybody. I told her the parking spots alongside were used, visible from inside. She then said with an attitude to go and park at the other end of the parking lot. Really? If she worked for me, I’d fire her on the spot."
"I give the cashier $10 and it buys me ONE GALLON... one of those places that might hire illegals who know how to pocket half and ring in the other half ... cash fraud. I managed several places and handled thousands in cash on a regular basis and was a cashier for years and I instantly knew I had been swindled afterwards"
"I stopped there with my daughter to get her some donuts and to let her use the restroom. We saw all the restroom signs and it was obvious that they had a restroom for customers. I asked the clerk for the restroom code. He was putting tobacco products in the display behind him. I got the impression he was the owner. He mumbled something and didn't even look at us. I wasn't sure if he might have told me to wait so I waited. He finally turned to look at me and I asked him again for the code. He said "no" and turned away. We couldn't buy donuts or use the restroom. He wouldn't even acknowledge us. We were dressed nicely and were polite. I had no doubt that the problem was the color of our skin. We put the donuts back and left. As we walked out, he smacked the window right next to us as if trying to scare us. Don't give these racists any of your business."
